Sandra W. Delnickas
Sandy passed away on Sunday July 19, 2026 after a 7-year fight with kidney disease, and it is a fight. Kidney disease is insidious and all-compassing, affecting one's entire body. It takes a tremendous toll on the individual and the family. We watched our mom struggle through so many different health issues during this journey and while she tried so hard to maintain her dignity and grace, it took a tremendous toll on her quality of life.
But our family is lucky in that we had the resources and support to help her as best as we could. We met many patients at the dialysis clinic who had no help, no transportation, no support. The National Kidney Foundation is dedicated to kidney health. Donations support patient education, advocacy, research, and access to high-quality care to assist patients through this terrible disease.
We thank you for any donation you might like to make in Sandy's memory. She will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.
