Michael Sean Coombs

Michael Sean Coombs was a loving husband, devoted father, and a true fighter. As a survivor of polycystic kidney disease (PKD), Sean faced his diagnosis with courage and determination. He received a life-changing kidney transplant and continued to live with strength and resilience, never allowing his illness to define him.

Sean's journey was not easy, but he met every challenge with grace and love for his family. Though he has now found peace, his legacy continues in the hearts of those who knew him and in the fight against kidney disease.

We created this page to honor Sean’s memory and to support the National Kidney Foundation—a cause that provided hope, education, and advocacy for families like ours.

Please consider making a gift in Sean’s name. Your generosity will help:
  • Expand access to home dialysis and kidney transplants for all Americans
  • Increase funding for kidney disease research
  • Identify and eliminate kidney health disparities

Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference. Your support means the world to our family and helps ensure that others won’t have to endure this battle alone.

Thank you for helping keep Sean’s legacy alive.

With gratitude,
The Coombs Family
