We invite you to honor the life and legacy of Louise Lyon Davidson, a woman whose warmth, wit, and resilience touched all who knew her.
 

Louise lived with advanced chronic kidney disease and, despite its challenges, embraced every day with strength and gratitude. She was a proud supporter of the National Kidney Foundation and especially loved attending the annual NKF Authors Luncheon with her daughter, Anne Barr, NKF’s National Board Chair. 
 

Born in Meriden, Connecticut, and a graduate of Mount Holyoke College, Louise’s life reflected a deep commitment to learning, service, and connection. She led with purpose, through her work with PTAs, the League of Women Voters, and her professional roles spanning publishing, journalism, and event planning. For more than three decades, she called Huletts Landing, New York, home, where she was President of the Garden Club of Lake George and an active member of the Women’s Guild and Mountain Grove Memorial Church. 
 

Louise cherished time with her family and friends, summers at Lake George, and every opportunity to bring people together. Her generosity of spirit continues to inspire all who were fortunate to share in her life.
