A Special Tribute for Iris Iva Lee Warren Flynt
Iris Iva Lee Flynt
In 2002, our mother, Iris Iva Lee Warren Flynt, was blessed to receive a kidney transplant at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. That gift of life gave our family more precious years with her—years filled with love, strength, and unwavering devotion to family.
A diagnosis of kidney disease can be overwhelming. The journey is often long and difficult, not only for patients, but for the families who walk alongside them. During some of our darkest moments, organizations like the National Kidney Foundation provided hope, guidance, and comfort—reminding us that we were not alone.
We invite you to honor our mother’s memory by making a tribute donation in her name. This cause was deeply meaningful to her and to our family. Your gift will help ensure that others facing kidney disease receive the emotional, educational, and tangible support they so desperately need.
Your generosity helps fund critical efforts to:
-
Expand access to home dialysis and kidney transplants for all Americans
-
Increase funding for kidney disease research
-
Identify and eliminate kidney health disparities
Every gift, no matter the size, is deeply meaningful to us and helps ensure that our mother’s legacy of strength, compassion, and perseverance lives on through this important work.
Thank you for honoring her life and for supporting families walking this difficult path.
With gratitude,
The Flynt Family, Winston-Salem, North Carolina
